i had a moment in yoga class today. i was upset at first, because we had a different teacher than last time. this time it was a female, and i kinda liked looking at last class's pretty male instructor. i got over it. so, we were starting to wind down and we were moving into plow position, which is one of my favorite positions ever. the first step looks like this:

then we moved into the second part, which is a little different:

i have already done these before, so i knew how it was going to feel and what to expect. then, she invited us to move into a deeper plow, which looks like this:

this was new for me, so i tried it. well. i don't know what the hell happened, but all of a sudden i started to cry. not sad tears - it was the kind of crying that happens when you've finally released or let go of something. i don't know... it was nice, though. very nice.

the teacher noticed i was crying and came over and sat behind me. she placed her hands on my forehead and left them there while we finished up our few remaining positions. after class, she told me that yogis believe that everything we do - every breath we take, every experience we have, every heart beat - leaves a mark inside of our body and that when we do yoga, we sometimes get to find these places again. this wasn't the first time she's had a student react like this to a position.

whatever it was, it was strange.

in more mundane news, i updated/changed the cast and page info pages as well as the page about me. not that you're interested, but just so you know.

and i think. someone is avoiding me. not too sure how i feel about that yet...
