right. new year, new design. kind of.

i had a wonderful new year's eve. the best i've ever had. if you want to see the debauchery, check out the divine miss meghan's pictures or wyatt's pictures. some of them are the same. deal with it.

anyway, it was a great time. my boyfriend, my best friend and her boy, my jewish mama and her boy, my incredible roommate, my cousin and his girl were all there - and really, they are the people i truly care about, so i couldn't have been happier.

we played three man. highlights being: meghan standing [quite successfully] on her head, meghan wearing my pirate undies and the beer hat at the same time, stealing john's clothes, wyatt doing yoga, vicky as a crane, wyatt sexing up my christmas tree, marijuana, and don singing an impromptu song about getting us all pregnant.

a couple of other random-but-fun people came over before midnight. i really didn't want to be at penn's landing for the countdown, but some other people were going, so i sucked it up and went along. we were all decked out in new year's garb. meghan in an obnoxious, ridiculous, but FABULOUS hat and noisemaker. i in a pink plume, pink streamers, pink lei, obnoxious pink noisemaker, and two big bags of confetti stuffed on top of each boob. at midnight, fireworks went off, ooo ahh. i kissed my boyfriend for a good minute and a half, burst into tears in the process, and threw the entire contents of one of the bags of confetti all over the two of us. and some strangers. while meghan was busy emptying the contents of the other bag in strangers' faces.

kissed john some more. kissing started to turn into other things, so i thought it best to turn my attention to the fireworks. fireworks were getting old, so i broke out into a drunken rendition of auld lang syne [knowing all of maybe seven words of it], and the rest of my friends followed suit. well, i think it was just meghan. which is why i love her.

somehow i got back to my apartment. that's when an assload of people i didn't know showed up and started fucking around with the music that was playing on the computer. the philly side of me was thisclose to coming out, but i just went to the freezer, grabbed the bottle of vodka and started drinking.

after fifteen minutes of carrying around the handle of vodka and smoking another bowl, it's pointless for me to tell you that i was trashed. don't remember what happened after that. except that i walked in on meghan and don having sex ["what are you doing to my best friend!"], trying to get john to have sex with me, vomitting, passing out.

and the best part of it was i didn't have to worry about being "a lot to handle" because i was drunk with meghan. we could be as loud and obnoxious as we wanted to be without people being assholes and bitching about it when we're not around.

so. i made a list of resolutions, hoping that i would keep at least one. the list goes as follows:

1. LEARN THE ART OF SUBTLETY
> must stop being so open, loud, and obvious.

2. GET A GRIP ON MY FINANCES
> shopaholics anonymous? haha.
> stop spending financial aid money.
>do not buy anything that i am not madly in love with.

3. TAKE BETTER CARE OF MYSELF
> vitamins, dammit!
> stop with all the coffee.
> actually go to gym on semi-regular basis.

4. BE A BETTER ROOMMATE
> stop being such a slob...
> and purposefully making linh feel less included

5. LEARN HOW TO COOK

6. LET GO OF TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS WITHOUT BURNING ANY MORE BRIDGES.

7. TAKE BETTER CARE OF MY MENTAL HEALTH.

8. STOP DRINKING SO MUCH.
> being 21 does not give you permission to be a lush.

9. STOP SMOKING SO MUCH WEED.
> three times a day really is excessive. i guess.

10. STOP LYING TO THE PEOPLE WHO MATTER.

11. GIVE JOHN'S PENIS A REST, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE.
